Meet Our Salesperson - Andrew Rusnak

Having worked at The Flooring Center for the past two years, I have developed an affinity for certain carpet and hard surface products. In the spring of 2014 when my fiancé and I bought our first house, I knew it was time to get to work on picking out products for our home. I knew trimming down the list of potential selections would be difficult as there are many products I like.

The first goal on the agenda would be to pick a wood floor for our living room, family room, and kitchen. We needed to pick something that could handle plenty of traffic, our incoming goldendoodle puppy, and potentially kids in the future while also not compromising on looks.
It was a tough decision between three great products: Mohawk Caprice color African Ebony, Garrison's French Connection color Champagne, and Provenza Antico color Auburn. We ultimately decided on Provenza's Antico because of its uniqueness while also being able to fulfill our requirements.
After the wood was installed it was time to select a carpet for our bedrooms. My fiancé and I both wanted something soft that would also hold up to any accidents from our new puppy. There were a number of nice options such as Mohawk's So Chic and Karastan's Eclectic Touch. The decision was ultimately a no-brainer though as we selected Supermodern Style by Karastan in the color Elemental Tan. SuperModern Style is an extremely soft cut pile carpet that is part of the Smart-strand silk series that also contains lifetime soil, stain, and pet urine warranties. We love the feel of the carpet and can already personally vouch for the ease of cleaning pet stains from the carpet.

Several months later after settling into our house we decided to add a backsplash in our kitchen. We chose Mohawk's Maraval Stone 3x12 glass and stone mosaic in the color Caramel Splash. It has been a great addition to our kitchen and has received numerous compliments.
